On March 24th and 25th, forty IATSE Local 31 members participated in a two-day OSHA 10 safety training session at the Sprint Center. The training was sponsored by the IATSE Training Trust Fund.
The OSHA 10 training covered OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety. There was an additional module on Fall Protection methods, and Hazard Assessment. The forty members who completed the training will receive their OSHA 10 cards in the mail soon. Also, our ETCP certified members are eligible for 8 hours towards re-accreditation. A big "Thank You!" to Kent Jorgensen for teaching the course, and to our members for their commitment to safety in the workplace. |
